Hyle Ventures is an owner-managed investment company and boutique corporate finance firm based in Hamburg. Its core activities are advising investors and own investments in property (real estate/project developments, agriculture, forestry), in companies at the interface of technology and creativity, and in the sectors of contemporary gastronomy, sustainable food and beverages. The management team of Hyle Kapital combines many years of entrepreneurial experience with technical expertise and well-developed professional networks in order to promote focused and sustainable corporate development.

Hyle is a philosophical term in the context of physics and metaphysics. Hyle is the substance underlying everything, the “primordial matter” taking shape through technē, human work.

Thorsten Boll

Managing Partner

Thorsten Boll (born 1978) worked for a commercial bank before he switched to the investment field. He has been a managing partner at Circle Eleven, a boutique fund specializing in private equity, since 2014. Inspired by private interest, he also deals with sustainable investments in the fields of agriculture and forestry.

Christian Stromann

Managing Partner

Christian Stromann (born 1976) has been a managing director in the field of digital media for 20 years while simultaneously turning his passion for the culinary art into a profession. He has been the editor of Sternefresser.de, the leading online magazine for high-end gastronomy in Europe, since he established it in 2005.

Prof. Dr. Ingo Scheuermann

Aalen University

Ingo Scheuermann (born in 1969) has been supporting family businesses and start-ups in transformation and business building for more than 20 years. His focus is on the application of AI models in small and medium-sized enterprises and their interaction with start-ups, where he is also active as a business angel. As a member of the Hyle Ventures Advisory Board, he contributes his coaching expertise to further develop existing and new ventures.

Ulrich Oldehaver

Mindvisory GmbH

Ulrich Oldehaver is one of the most renowned NLP trainers in the German-speaking world and founder of Mindvisory. As a coach and trainer, he supports people in achieving mental sovereignty and emotional freedom. Previously, he was co-founder and member of the Management Board of MPC Capital AG, which he led into the MDAX. As a mental coach, he supported German athletes at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and is also the author of the SPIEGEL bestseller “Der Persönlichkeits-Code”.
